Telescopes One of the biggest attractions at Astrocamp is our astronomy program. At an elevation of 5,600 feet above sea level, Astrocamp's skies are clear of light pollution and perfect for stargazing. You'll get the chance to see stars, galaxies, planets, nebulae, and so much more! Use our state-of-the-art telescopes and giant astronomical binoculars to see more than you ever thought possible! | Solar Studies Just how much power does the sun give off? How big is it? In this class you will learn all you ever wanted to know about the only star in our solar system. Learn what makes ours so unique and special through a variety of hands-on activities. Look through our telescopes with special filters to see sun spots and end the day with cookies baked in one of our solar ovens!
