Choosing a Summer Camp is an important decision in your child’s life. We know that many factors go into this decision. The program, staff, safety, social setting and reputation of the camp are all essential considerations.

Astrocamp Explorer is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our program is built around astronomy, space travel and exploration and earth sciences and utilizes the extraordinary mountain environment found in Idyllwild, California. We strive to provide unparalleled programs and activities using the latest equipment and techniques in a safe, supportive and fun setting.
Through our 30 years of experience, we’ve developed a set of goals that are our top priority for our campers each summer:

* To return and continue to be a member of the Astrocamp family
We’ve seen campers accomplish these goals summer after summer. They do this by participating in camp activities and by being an active member in the camp community. We strive to help each and every camper do both of these things.
