Our Marine Science Instructors teach groups of 4th - 12th grade students our marine science, oceanography and island ecology curriculum. Instructors are responsible for implementing an active, hands-on, experientially-oriented program including snorkeling, kayaking, marine labs, hiking, and a variety of evening programs. This is a high energy program where instructors spend long days working and teaching in a unique environment.
Requires a BA or BS degree in Marine Biology, Biology, Oceanography or related science. Must possess excellent water skills, Current certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR required at the start of the contracted period. (Training may be conducted on site.) Teaching experience with youth is desired. Flexibility and ability to work with others as a team and live in a remote residential setting is essential. Room and board are provided on-site.
