Who's Who in Your Crew?
At Sea Camp, you'll become a part of this unique community the second you get to Toyon Bay! Throughout your the three week experience you will be placed in a crew depending on your age. (A's: 12-13, B's: 14-15, and C's: 16-17). Four nights at camp are crew nights where you will socialize, kick back, as well as participate in beach parties, outdoor movies, campfires, karaoke, games, dances and other fun activities. Crew nights change every year so it is always something new and exciting!
During the first week of camp crews will meet on three different nights to socialize and get to know each other.
During the final week crews meet again for our "FINAL CREW NIGHT." Campers can wind down the session, hang out, and reflect on all of the fun memories made during the summer.
There are also optional overnight activities each session. The A's and B's get a chance to sign up for an overnight camp out at Black Jack Mountain, the highest peak on Catalina Island, followed by a small hike to the interior of the island where they can view a captive Bald Eagle and Catalina Fox. (First 25 campers signed up).
The C campers get to leave camp for 2 days and travel to the backside of the island where they will surf the waves, eat an amazing grilled meal, and camp beneath the stars. The next day involves more lounging in the sun, capped off by a small hike back into camp.
Past crew nights range from Get to Know You Games, to the Jamaican Me Crazy Beach Party, and A Dance Odyessey. Also the A-List Lounge, Prom Night, and Vegas Vacation.
