Welcome Parents We would like to thank you for choosing CIMI Tall Ship Expeditions for all your Tall ship needs. We know this step for your child will be an amazing one. You might notice a few changes from your son or daughter when they return from a trip aboard the SSV Tole Mour. One of the most often remarked on would be that parents are often surprised by their child yelling "TIME FOR PRIDE!" after dinner. Then they get up and help with the dishes. They might even challenge you to a mop off.  A large part of what we do on board is train the students in a lifestyle of living with a lot of people in a small area. In order to do this you have to have cleanliness, organization and either a relaxed nature or good compromising skills. If you don't have any of these skills coming aboard the Tole Mour then some changes will occur, and soon. Character building is not the only thing we do though. We have fun and we learn. In our experience we have found that these two go hand in hand and are usually best together. Our marriage of marine biology and snorkeling has proven itself as an excellent way to provide this style of fun learning. Some other marriages we love are meteorology and physics with working the ship. Every lesson we teach directly links to them and their lives while they are aboard the Tole Mour. Our crew works hard to provide a safe and welcoming environment for your student so that they have the courage they need to challenge themselves during their expedition. Whether their challenge is getting in the ocean, climbing up the masts or, for the younger set, just being away from home for the first time; our staff will be there for them either to urge or just have a positive outlook on the limits that they felt they could challenge. Once the expedition is over and everyone is back home we would love to hear about some of the changes you have seen in your child. So please send us any stories or anecdotes you might have.
